Gibb river road/Mitchell Falls

Just wondering if anyone has come through the Gibb River road in the last week and what the conditions are like. Also wondering what the road conditions are like from the Gibb to the Mitchell Falls

Have a look at thread 80386.

Have a look hereDrysdale River Station

They will be only too happy to give you up to the minute reports, as conditions change from day to day.

Just got off it. Arrived in Kununnurra this evening. Gibb is OK comparatively speaking but the Kalumbaru Road is heavily corrugated as is the Mitchellk plateau Road. Very poor condition but having said that, it's woth it. Take it slow. It's costing everybody who travels it at present ( I sheered the wheelnuts on the back right hand rear wheel which departed the scene embarssingly).

Plenty of water in the Mitchell and King Edward.

Cheers Mick.
