Hi All

thanks stewart

Hello Stewart.
We own a 2006 12.37-2 Outback Expanda with beam axle.
Took it 28000km VIC/SA/NT/WA/SA/VIC in July August 2008.
Towed it east west the length of the
Gibb River Road, the Lennard Fitzroy road, to the Kennedy Ranges and through the southern forests in WA in July August 2008.
Lots of preparation to protect the undercarrage including a trapese net stone guard and lots of dust preventative measures.
Deflated tyre pressures all round and reduced speed. Van faired very
well
No issues other than dust into a foot locker where I missed a gap. No things dropping off. Closest thing to inside things breaking was a dislodged slide out pantry mounting rail that we only detected when we got home and was a simple fix.
Hello Timewaster, enjoying your trip reports :-)
