Good evening all
I'm just considering a cargo barrier for my 80 series landcruiser. I don't want drawers just a barrier. Any advice re Outback vs Milford?? Other options? I'd like to be able to remove it when I want to put the back seats down. I'm in
Adelaide so any advice about where to go would be great!!
Many thanks also to the many people who have helped me with all my other enquiries as
well.
cheers

Only had Milford in my cruisers, good product but they can rattle a bit if you have the one with the clear perspex window.
Milfords are made in
Adelaide near the airport and they have a new design out which looks a bit like punch plate.
Regards.

Hello Blackhawk,
We put one in our Troopy. Bought it from Willshire on South Road at
Ashford - best price and it was a Milford. We've found them good. They also supplied and fitted a Recaro passenger
seat in our Troopy.
We also had a cargo barrier in our 80 series. We had it set up so that we could move it forward and backward for travelling. It does make you feel safer.
Waiting on delivery of a Prado and will probably put one in that too.

Milford is the way to go. Roof Rack City in Gilbert Street in the City had the best price when I shopped around for complete supply and fit. (They are under new ownership/management).

Go to the local garbage dump buy back
shop.
If you don't have one find the secondhand dealer that has the license to scrounge the dump. There are hundreds if not thousands of these things in dumps around Australia.
I think it is because the government departments dispose of them & there is not a real good market established for them.

Milford.
There is one in our GQ that was there when we bought it. When my wife parked it on it's roof, the cargo barrier prevented the roof caving down on top of her, likely saving her life.
A brilliant bit of kit!
Cheers
