I am on the Sunshine Coast and wondering whats the easiest way to get flights over Lake Eyre. I see some country airlines advertising a couple day flights with stop-overs in
places like
Coober Pedy. Not interested in that. Just a flight there and back if possible. Happy to drive west to go from one of the country towns eg
Charleville. Just don't know where I might find such a trip?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Hi You could drive to
William Creek from
Coober Pedy and do the 1 hour fllight for $220. (Wrightsair)The track is in pretty good nick and graders are working there as we speak also you are only 65klm to the edge of the lake from there.
Enjoy, we may never see it again in our lifetime.
Cheers

I was hoping to fly from Qld and follow the
water from
Birdsville down. But I don't want to drive all the way to
Birdsville to find a flight. Somewhere a bit closer to home.
