Does anyone know if the new Hyundai generators are comparable to the Yamaha and Honda units? Looking at the specs the Hyundai looks similar, a bit noisier, but a lot cheaper. Any comments. Cheers Andrew

If they want around a $1000 for one,I would pay another $300 and get a Yamaha or Honda,especially if you need to attach anything with sensitive electronics

There seems to be 3 levels of quality on generators and Im guessing the Hyundai would sit on level 2 with the Kipor.
Its not made by Hyundia ,but is a licensed product of the Hyundai corparation

Thanks, I think I will buy a Honda EU10i from The Generator Place $1399 including a bonus pack and free delivery. Seems like the best deal available.

The Yamaha's have great specs too, but the Honda has a 5 year warranty and service agents all over Australia.

FYI the Hyundai 1000Si was for sale $850 new including 2 year warranty...but I haven't been able to find any performance reviews or comparisons about them so will give them a miss.
