Normal change of rego SA after purchase found out recently 11 seater troope registered as small bus so unknowling paid $772 but was only $548 got refund and changed to station wagon without modifaction. We thought it was the V8 but just ripped off it took 3 days as compliance Dept. had a fight with rego Dept. glad I stuck it out.

Perhaps in SA they have to get a bit more because they have no RWC to get you with.

Not just SA, in NSW an 11 seater troopy costs heaps more to register and has to have 6 monthly RTA bus inspections over the RTA pits.

Only $10.00 per week, not too bad is it. I wish fuel only cost me that!

Oh, I wonder if I was paying to much, I remember that one of my old Toopys was registered as a small bus. Not a 95 or 98 Model is it?

Apparently you should only pay or be classed as a small bus if you run it like a bus for money. But I believe in NSW you are stuck with the inspection anyway.
It's a 2007 troope
