First when I
park my Nissan Patrol nose up on an incline after half an hour or so I have to manually pump the fuel up to get it started yet on flat ground or nose down its fine [3lt diesel] please any ideas I was thinking there must be a one way valve not working.
Second am doing the sums on a 6.5lt chevy transplant{Brunswick} at present I get approx 10.5lts per 100km normal driving and 17-17.5 per 100kms towing my van does anyone have figures for the 6.5 chevy

No figures on the chevy but read my blog on a better and cheaper alternative
Project TONI
More modern, more power, easier parts availability, more fuel efficient.
Cheers Colin.

Hi there - it would suggest you have an air leak - maybe up near the motor as its the highest point when nose up in the driveway allowing fuel to run back down to fuel
tank due to lack of vacuum a closed system would provide unless off coarse these things have non return valves ( which i am unsure of ) if so , that could be the issue
