sad triton
Some weeks ago I posted asking if anyone had heard of this company as I was getting a bit leery about paying up front to a company that only seemed to exist in cyber space. I was hardly re-assured when after some 290
views, not person had responded in the affirmative.
My main concerns centred on paying up front, and being left at
Brisbane airport with nothing more than a hole in my pocket and a phone number that they are not real flash at answering sometimes.
I emailed them expressing my concerns and indicated I was reconsidering the booking. The owner, Catriona, rang me, horrified that I thought they may be less than legitimate. The reason for collecting up front is that all too often they deliver a car to the airport, only to have the hirers credit card bounce which creates an ugly situation.
We re-jigged the booking to pick the vehicle up in
Brighton and whilst we paid the hire fee up front, the security deposit was done on site.
Well, to cut a long story short, we couldn't have been happier with how things turned out. We hired a Jeep Wrangler soft top, including recovery gear,
first aid kit, compressor and maps etc, for around 1/3rd of what some companies charge for vehicle hire alone.
I could not recommend them more highly.
Phil.

Hi Phil
I remember your concern from your other post re paying up front to someone who seemed not to exist.
Glad it all worked out for you, good to hear something positive about a company, too often all we hear are complaints (probably justified), so yes, good to hear a positive outcome.
Cheers, Dave
