Evening all, does anyone know if there is a place on here where I can find out

the distances between fuel stops between Adelaide and Darwin? ie, what would

be the longest distance between stops. (fuel, that is.) Searching for a friend.

Thank you for your time.

Hi KC

If I remember my short time in Adelaide, there are a lot of truck bases in Gepps Cross. The sites suggested are great, and for some first hand knowledge, check with the drivers that do the run "up the guts" as they put it.

Cheers

Hi Kev, I reckon everything is solved. The answer was: there are plenty fuel stops. Like there are in the Nullarbor. But what we learnt from crossing the Nullarbor a couple of times, it's worth checking fuel prices as they can differ quite a bit. So tell your friend that if he has a CB or UHF radio, to call on the caravaners and/or campervaners channel and ask about prices. Not when the fuel indicator is on the E of course ;-)

Hi KC, must be a mix-up, I'm not the famous well known Willem from Peterborough. I'm a Dutchman called Willem from Wilsum Germany. Did go around the block (Oz) from 2001 till 2007 a couple of times. Now back in Europe but we will be back Down Under from mid October till the end of March for a new adventure. Cheers.
