Antennas on caravans

I need to replace the tv antenna on my van but not sure what is best there are about 3 or 4 different designs on e bay.The original antenna that came with the van is one of those white plastic ones with an extendible aerials each side but they pull out now.Any help appreciated

Except in areas that have vertical polarity like Erldunda and several other outback towns that piggy back off larger towns.

Takes just a few minutes to change to Vertical. Have done it quite a few times when travelling in South Aus. Of course you will need a ladder to reach the top of the Antenna.

Hi Carlj

We have the happy wanderer (the triangle shaped one) and find it great as long as you have power to run the booster, they work on both UHF & VHF and can be easliy changed, they can also sell you a book with the channel frequency for most of Australia.
