For heavens sake it is a highway even if it is dirt.iit can be difficult when wet but otherwise it is just another dirt road.

Drive to the conditions is the only thing you need to remember.

We did it last Christmas just after storms went through. A backpacker Commodore or Falcon got stuck in some ruts in a few wet patches, and ended up getting trailered into
Boulia, but except for one
creek crossing about 300mm deep, the road was fine.
Conditions obviously change, but I can't see it getting unsuitable for a Pajero without some serious flooding.

Hi there Michael, as has been said, it will be no worries at all. We just pulled into Bulia this morning. There are a few spots that have been messed up by the rain, but it just gets a bit harder to maintain a straight line, slow down and no worries. We passes a few cars on the road too. Graders are out too, so some spots are like tarmac!
Easy drive, so go enjoy, the NT side is a nice drive!
Troy
