Probably at your nearest Landrover dealer. You could get a manual as well and then you will have all the answers.

Go to AULRO site and do not pass GO.
You can buy a CD manual there, and someone will know instantly the answer to your question.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Land Rover ownership .

Sadly, I will severing all ties with Land Rover.
I will be selling my Disco 2 TD5 Manual & spares, due to the continuing nightmares of having to deal with a niche market of so called Land Rover experts. they managed to turn my "wonderful world of Land Rover ownership" into purgatory.

Rather than use silastic you should use a proper sealant, anaerobic sealants designed for the job are much easier to apply, clean up and will work better.
The Toyota black sealant p/n T08826-00080A is what a lot of mechanics use locally.
I'm no fan of Toyota but the sealer does work well. Whatever you use don't use the Permatex blue one as the oil goes straight through it.

We used to use Rolls Royce Jointing Compound, I am sure it has been renamed Hylomar M.
