If you are travelling along the
Savannah Way past
Doomadgee this Sat (tomorrow) and Sunday they are having there annual Rodeo, it is to raise funds for the RFDS so if you have some time up your sleeve call in and check it out ...
Some of the local kids are going to have a go at bull riding so should be fun ...
Please do note there is no
camping avail so just call in for a bit on your way past to support it, these small events seem to be fading away in remote areas and it would be sad to see them go, you dont have to spend a cent but would be nice to see some tourists pop in .....
