Hi just wondering if there is a book you can get that has 4wd tracks and
places to stay not in towns but N/Ps or wildderness areas in the otway ranges and along the great ocen rd

Magnificent area!
I use The
Otways 4wd touring guide, 2nd ed - also available on CD for use with GPS map software. It has comprehensive coverage with info on
camping, etc. Be aware of seasonal track closures, plus short term closures due to storms, with trees / washaways, etc
