Just paid $2.05 at
Warburton WA and it was $2.20 at Blackstone WA.
But it is grand country out here and looking good at this time. Having a great time but don't ask me questions as I am about to pass from internet range.
Catchya later,

Hi Allan
I hope you had a great time out that way. We did get across the Simpson apart from one mud bogging. We paid $2.45 per litre for diesel at Ilkurlka on the AB
All the best and great to meet you and your better half at
Oodnadatta.
Regards
Stephen and Fiona

I was involved with the Blackstone Store for the whole of 2009. When I arrived there in Jan 09 the fuel price for both petrol and diesel was $2.25 per litre. The cost price landed at Blackstone including freight was at that time $1.38 per litre. During my breakin period I did these calculations and consequently dropped the price to $2.00. I hardly think that the landed cost has gone up so I guess the incumbent manager is making more dosh for the community. Probably has to make up for the shoplifting and believe me it's a mojor consideration.

Rather than
Marla, we fill up at the
Mobil or Shell depots near the drive-in at
Coober Pedy - was about $1.46 last week.

I always fill up my jerry can at
Erldunda to get me to
Coober Pedy without stopping. I always miss
marla as its always alot dearer than any other stop between Pt
Augusta and
Alice Springs.

ahhh just wondering when fuels going to shoot up again
realistically the GFC has delivered low fuel costs. Comparativly i think its prett low ATM
wasnt that long ago I was paying over $1.80 for gull bio D city prices
and last year that what they were charging out at Mt Augustus
probablly will hit with a spike and hit hard ATM continuing problems in the US and Europe are preventing this
I dont have a crystal ball so just enjoy it because as much as wed like it alot lower it could be alot higher
