EOTrackMe/BeGPS on a BlackBerry Pearl 3G (9100)

Hi,

Is there any users of the BlackBerry 9100 (including BIS and Telstra datapack) who are running BeGPS on their device back to the EO server, or alternatively someone who may be able to recognise the issue in this case. :)

I am unable to establish a http connection with EO and am trying to narrow down the issue. Error message is "send failed" with the following communication reason:

Settings are as follows:

Any ideas as to the setting that may be required?

Andrew,
I do not have one of these but for a test please try to remove the http:// from the front of the URL. Also while you are there please change the url to eotrackme.exploroz.com/track/position.aspx?uid=MXXXX

Let em know how it goes so that I can adjust the doco if needed.

Thanks David,

Finally after a couple hours playing, I have discovered that the TCP/IP settings need to be enabled to the Telstra APN for it to communicate rather than trying to go through the Blackberry MDS in my case. I wonder if this has anything to do with being BIS rather than BES?

The following settings were used:

NOTE: Communication settings either "Default" or "Direct" as it doesn't seem to make a difference.

APN settings for TCP/IP needs to be enabled under "Options ->Advanced Options ->TCP/IP"
