Greetings fellow
explorers!
This is my first post here and I'll start with a little intro, I am an avid adventurer from
Perth and I'm love being outdoors! kayaking,
camping, hiking, rock climbing, paragliding, skydiving, the works!
I have just recently gotten into solo hiking and backpacking and I wanted to know of some good trails/ day hikes/ overnighters around WA, preferrably just for a one nighter... I don't mind where, I was thinking
Bells Rapids may do it, or
mundaring weir or something?
Help?
thanks!

Hi Rosco,
Try the
Bibbulmun Track
It's a long walking trial that goes from the hills of
Perth all the way to
Albany.
I've walked the first 600km, but then I bought a 4WD :))
Cheers
Alan

As already mentioned, the WalkGPS website is a great place for hikes around
Perth.
I've been doing Bell's Rapids as
well as Walyunga National
Park hikes for the past 3 months or so. Great way to explore and get fit too (I've lost 7 kilos in those 3 months).
My wife and I recently went down to
Boyagin Rock Nature reserve for a day hike and think we may end up doing an overnighter there as it's quite a lovely place.
If you're keen to catch up and go for a hike at some stage, drop me an email uneekwahn [at] gmail [dot] com
Cheers,
Jason.

Hi
Can also recommend the WalkGPS site for ideas.
The 3 mountain walk on the Bibbulman Track, Randall Rd to Sullivan Rock with a night at the Monadocks
Campsite is a good one with
views.
I believe some numbats have been sighted recently near
Boyagin Rock.

Should have mentioned if you are into geocaching it makes it a bit more interesting as there are several geocaches along the track. Several take you to
places you would otherwise not see. Boyagin for instance has its own geocache.
