Is there an option to start a blog and save it as a draft so I can return to it at a later day for completion? I dont want to submit an unfinished blog.
If there is a button, I cant find it so far.
Thanks for you help,
Rob

Rob,
No there isn't a draft option.
I found that a comment at the start of the blog stating that it was work in progress then submitted what I had gotten up to works pretty
well.
To add to it you just open the uncompleted blog and edit it, once finished remove the "Work In progress comment at the start.
Hope that Helps
Cheers Kev

Yeah, that's what I do when writing
mine too - hate not having a draft option.

Our my Outback Qld & Gulf Savannah Blog I simply wrote each day in a word document and updated when I was in internet range... Worked okay and kept family and friends updated on our progress and travels.
Cheers, The Landy

Rob,
Not exactly answering your question but what I do is write up a journal/blog in word, embed any photos and then convert the lot to a .pdf file. I then host this .pdf file on my Internet Service Provider's site and then put a link into the blog area. I can then use the same link on other forums that I hang out. Saves a lot of repetition.

Thanks Sir Kev and Michelle. Yeh Michelle, whisper in David's ear.
Richard, Your suggestion sounds good.
In my only blog to date I did what you suggested up to the point where you said 'I then host this .pdf file on my Internet Service Provider's site and then put a link into the blog area'. I'll see if Ican work this one out.

Mine are prepared in Word, then when complete added as an attachment, with just a preamble and one photo in the blog box as an introduction. Would be better done in .pdf, but i don't have a suitable programme.

There are a number of (free) programs that you in essence install as a printer, then you can just save anything you can print (from Word, etc) as a PDF file. Easiest way to do it.

If you write it in word and keep on your computer until you are ready - then just cut/paste all the text out and put into your blog. Then add your photos.
We do not allow
blogs that are simply links to other websites (sorry to who mentioned that above).
It shouldn't be long until my whisper in David's ear results in a solution (I have my ways) so it should only be a temporary work around. That's why I just make it a work in progress - each time you click submit (which is what you do after editting and updating) it reloads it to the top of the list anyway just as if it was a new blog so really makes no difference ?! But I know, I get precious and want it perfect first time too !
To those that don't type (or even cut/paste) their text into the blog - be aware that this makes your
blogs harder to find as the search function cannot read attachements (eg. docs, pdfs).
To those that upload pdfs on other sites, you don't need to - the
blogs support pdf attachements so just load them in your blog on EO.
All your feedback, suggestions etc for what you want what will make it easier for you is important so happy to hear your thoughts.
Thanks Rob - hope you are Charles are having fun out there and that Hugo is behaving.

Hi Michelle,
Hugo has been in hospital again - he is signing himself out tomorrow. Spot will be up and running again on Wednesday, enroute to
Lake Ballard.
