Cape York school holidays

I am leaving Penrith tomorrow morning ( Sunday) and should be in Cairns on Wednesday.

Leave Cairns Friday to go to Cape York, and all places in between and should be back in Cairns 18 days later.

I might see you up there.

We were going to (us n 3 kids) but our plan was camping and it is getting hot now, we will be at Mag Island for a week then up to Cairns 9/10 Oct and will decide if we still go, we work, live, eat ect in the heat up here so not keen on camping in it and it is dry (dusty) humid and warm nights so kinda takes the edge off it and there is only so much beer one can drink to soften it.....
Frm what i hear there is gunna be heaps going up there so you most certainally wont be alone ...... we may do a "quicky" to sus it out a bit and return in May/June when it is cooler and spend more time .....
It seems and feels like the wet is coming very early this year, very Humid for this time of the year ....
