We are joining the plenty highway east of Gemtree and would like to fill up with diesel at Atitjere.

Can't ring from here so would appreciate any advice on whether fuel is normally available.

Jervois might be a possibility but was told that Hema haven't yet caught up with the fact that it hasn't been available there for some years. Is that correct?

I was over the Plenty in late July. Fuel is available at both Harts Range and Jervois. None available at the NT/QLD border.

Enjoy your trip.

My understanding is that the hours are a bit funny at Mt Hart. Might pay to check

Yes they are. 3-hour lunch break and never on Sunday.

I would say the person who gave you the information about Jervois may need a HEMA, Jervois has always had fuel...we use them all the time coming out of the desert.

I would say most travelers in that area fill up at Jervois, just remember CASH ONLY as with most places in the outback.
