Has anybody travelled on the Kennedy Developmental Rd north of
Hughenden recently? Just wondering what it's like these days. We drove along it in 2007 in a 2WD and got through okay though it was slow-going in parts. Just wondering what it's like now as we are planning to use it again in September 2010 again in a 2WD. It's a quick way to get to
Cairns when you don't have too much time.

We are coming from the south, want to get from
Hughenden to
Ravenshoe (our ultimate destination is Mena
Creek which is near
Innisfail).

Was in good condition in April this year however like all outback tracks a bit of rain can change everything. Towards the northern end there is a small
creek you have to cross over a ford, only 300mm deep when I went over however in a 2WD this may be difficult after a downpour.
