Hi Ron
I know the preferred route is south to north, but the better way is north to south. Make sure that you use a sand flag and have a UHF Radio and drop your tyre pressure. The better camping locations are at Mt Finke and Googs Lake.

Cheers

Stephen

Certainly it was more suitable for us to travel North to South and it makes a nice loop with day trips at the end from Ceduna which is a favourite 4wd destination for us .
