I have the 170's & Mine broke on the Borefield rd on the way to Roxby Downs. The road was very corrugated. Both broke at the same spot, at the threaded extension at the back of the reflector. (The bit that screws on to the lampholder) I'm yet to talk to Lightforce about this. I had no problems with the mounting brackets themselves.
I too thought the light weight would prevent them form breaking on rough roads & they have been great up until now...... Maybe age affects the strength of the plastic.
I had other heavier lights & destroyed them on rough roads where the Lightforce had no problems up until now that is."

Well I ended up calling them, not really thinking they would be interested. They asked me to return what was left of the old ones and a week later a new set arrived via post. No questions....... I didn't even get a call from them, just a new set........... Can't complain about that for after sales backup.

No connection to Lightforce....... Just very happy with the product & their service.

Also received great service from Lightforce.

Similar thing happened with my Narva lights and they couldnt care. Just gave me the name and address of local supplier and told to order broken part there at my expense. Thought that was pretty pathetic.

Exact same thing happened to one of my 170's - replaced immediately at the front counter with a cheery smile - no paperwork even. As you say, good people to deal with - many others have said the same.

Yees Lightforce are good to deal with. Also Narva are OK also. I struck a roo & he demolished my passenger side Narva spot on a ARB bullbar & the D/side spot lense fell out with the shock. I told Narva about it & they sent out a new whole lense at no charge.
