Good morning all

I thought I would fill in a minute or two by removing the drivers side speaker and puting a new speaker on the roof console on my left hand side. I'm deaf in my right ear and have trouble hearing the radio with the road noise etc. The troopy is a 75 series, 1995.

I'm looking at the speaker and it appears I have to dismantle the dash board behind the steering wheel.

Is this correct, or is there an easier way?

All is good.

I bit the bullet and pulled the dash out, (it needed dusting anyway).

I have disconnected the wires and will now put the new speaker in.

Jeff

It was dead easy.

There are 4 screws along the bottom of the dash and two at the back and above the speedo area, then you give it a bit of a wiggle and it should come out.

There are a couple of harnesses that you need to unlock to take the dash completely off.

When you put it back just reconnect the harnessess and line up the two male parts with the females at the back. You'll see what I mean when you take it off.
