Ask the RTA in WA for a correct answer.
I changed an already registered Qld van into WA without inspection.
Only had to show proof I had owned it for over 12 months

In WA the licensing section is the DPI (department of planning and
infrastructure)I'm not trying to be smart, just letting you know who to look for.

Premek,
Just re-read your post and am not sure that the other posters have picked it up either.
So what you have is a self propelled van (ie Ford Transit or similar) that YOU have converted to a campervan by installing double bed, fridge etc.
Is this correct?
If so, this will change things a lot.
You will need to contact dpi.wa.gov.au and search that site for all the relevant information.
You will need to have both the gas and electrics certified by the relevant authorities before you even consider taking it for relicensing.
My mate next door converted a WA licensed bus into a motorhome and had to comply with all the regs and requirements just to transfer it from bus to motorhome here in WA.
Hope this helps you.
Disco.
