Hi

Has to be Dickys beach park or Coolum Beach for my money straight onto the beach and all the coffee shops, surf clubs and newsagents etc you need.

Probably lean toward Coolum Beach due to the actual beach being much better.

We stayed at the Beachfront Caravan Park Noosa North Shore last June.

Beachfront Caravan Park

It was very nice. There are a couple of comments though. They say they don't take bookings but, if you want a powered site out in the grassy, open area (which I recommend) then you will definitely have to book and they do take bookings for those sites. If they want to put you in "the trees" I would insist on the grassy areas. The trees are a tight squeeze and claustrophobic.

What I would REALLY recommend is that you stop at the Rangers Office just before the ferry and take out a camping permit for Teewah Beach. Check the tides and drive up on low tide. The beach is just fantastic and there are some great campsites. Just make sure you avoid weekends and school holidays.
