I`ve just joined as a member and would like to introduce my partner and myself to fellow members. We would like to do some 4 WD over the weekends, we have had some trips with Campfire Escapes and enjoyed it. We live in Baldivis western Austraila.

Hullo Dave & Sue, welcome aboard.
Baldivis... hasn't that changed over the years.
Growing up in Safety Bay in the late 50's, early 60's, Baldivis was just farms until Mundijong, where there were more farms. Now it's a sea of houses.
In Mandurah now... talking about a place that has changed.

From Wikipedia:
The name of Baldivis was thought up by settlers in the area who were attracted to the region by a government housing scheme to help the unemployed in the early 1920s. The name derives from three ships which travelled to Western Australia in 1922, all within six weeks of each other. They were named
BALranald, DIogenes and the JerVIS Bay. It was the maiden voyage for all three ships and they were all built in the same shipyard in the same year.

Hi,
Baldivis, is that where the Spudshed is, like in South Yunderup?
And John, were you ever used to write sigaar instead of seegar?
