g'day all

I'm going to pop up to Camerons Corner tomorrow morning (from Broken Hill) for a bit of a look around.

Both places have accommodation, but I'm undecided whether to stay at the Corner or Tibooburra.

Any suggestions?

You could camp in Sturt National Park near Tibooburra. Check Parks NSW website as there are a couple of different places.

You could even consider Milparinka just to the south of Tibooburra (50ks).....

Sorry Landy

I forgot to mention I haven't got the camper trailer.

I was looking at hotel accommodation or the like where I can get a meal and a beer. O'tooles in Tibooburra looks interesting.

The wife has flown to Tibooburra a few times in the past 2 weeks working with the flying doctors, so I'm going up by myself overnight to have a look.

We leave BH on Saturday to head to Adelaide and Bunbury so time is short.

Well in that case either one of the pubs, but I wouldn't rule out the pub at Milparinka...I reckon one could have a great time there....

Hi,
I don't believe the pub at milparinka is open.

There is a fair bit of accomodation at Tibooburra.

The cabins in the caravan park are good.

Richard C,

Interesting. We stayed there overnight 12 months ago. Shame if it's closed down.

If you're considering using their accomadation, the dongers at the corner are best described as "basic".

Boo Boo,

Stay at the Corner. The accommodation is basic but the people running the place and the visitors (truckies, travellers, etc etc) are great company.

Thanks for your help gentlemen.

I have decided to play it safe and stay at Tooles family pub.

It will cost me $80 for an ensuite room and whatever for a few beers and dinner.
