Hello everyone,
We are currently in the throws of planning our trip through the Kimberly. I have checked
places and treks on this site to see if ULP is available along the Gibb or just off the Gibb. We are hoping to get up to Kalumbaru. So having a ULP 4x4 we need to make sure we can buy petrol and where we can get it from. So if anyone can help us out it would be appreciated.....

Peter is spot on. Diesel only at
Imintji.
Andrea, get the Hema Kimberly map which shows which facilitiies are available at each location inc fuel types.

Boobook, I agree, that map is a must have for a
Kimberley Trip.
Mine is worn out completely after visiting the
Kimberley this year. TJ.

Hope you use good fuel filters
Just about everyone living out in the bush uses diesel, so not a lot of 'fresh' petrol is available, even at the sites listed
Be prepared for a filter change in case you get a bad batch :)
