Hi chaps.
We need a diesel gen for back up at the house to run pumps/ fridge.

Looking at one of these.

Anyone had any experience with these, good bad etc?

Quality of sine wave, availability of spare parts what type of engine copy is it etc?

many thanks

Hi trainslux, I've put the full link here. I'm puzzled though as to why so many of these links don't appear properly in EO?

Cheers, John

Have a look at watts2c web site. There is a link in the sponsors part of Bushtracker Owners Group BOG web site. I know that they have been setting up a diesel generator set. Brian

there are quite a few options - the best way to go is Diesel DC generator with a battery bank. That way you don't need to run the generator all trhe time.

batteries store your power for when and where you need it - use inverter to convert to AC.

Thanks for the replies.
I only need it for when the power is out, Im not that interested in setting up a battery bank, and solar as we dont have the room, and I think that I would need a large inverter to run a well pump and a few fridges.
