We ( 2 of us) are going to be Marree on the November 1st/2nd and we would like to go for a flight over Lake Eyre.
I have made inquiries at Marree and they said they need a minumin of 4 people to go otherwise the cost is very expensive.
Just wondering if anyone else might be in the area at that time and considering doing a flight.
Thanks Julie

If you head about 200k up to William Creek, you can fly with wrights air. I am sure they will have flights for 2.

Julie,
Totally agree with the above. Also there is a great campground opposite the pub with some powered sights available. On the way, you get to view Lake Eyre South and there is an easy drive of about 70 km into Lake Eyre North from William Creek with limited facilities camping allowed at Halligan Bay.
Wrightsair have a website which allows bookings to be made.
Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for the suggestions but I have made enquiries through Wrightsair at William Creek and they have the same deal.

I ask them if they have flights at Marree and was given the Phone Number as they don't do the bookings for Marree at William Creek.

We are have limited time and had hope not to drive as far as William Creek.
Thanks Julie

Wrightsair also operate out of Coober Pedy.

We did a 4 hour flight from there with them today that took in the Lake, a landing at Wiliam Ck and then Painted Hills on the way back.

2 people, $400 each was what we paid. There were in fact 4 passengers but they said they'd fly with 2.

They all fly with less than a full load. The cost per seat in this case is the is the cost of the flight divided by the number of passengers. You can always wait a day or two until some others come to make up the full load.
