Hi Graham,
dowloading the plot of any track, will only give you the "track" that has been uploaded to the web site. Downloading the plot does not give you a map. When you open the xxxx.plt file in ozi it overlays that track onto whatever map you have open in ozi at that time.

Hi Fred
Iexpressed my query badly. I realise that it is only the track that is downloaded, and the track for the Madigan track was what I was seeking to be able to download onto my VMS unit which also has the Hema maps.

Graham,
If you select the Map download option this will give you a georeferenced map however this map is currently in the GIF format and the Ozi CE product does not directly support GIF maps. If you convert the map from GIF to OZF format it will work correctly in your device. There is an OZF converter tool available on the oziexplorer site (if it is not built into the PC version) that will allow you to convert the map image formats for use in your device.
PS: I am converting plot swap to User Treks at the moment and have been re-writing the whole mapping system for the past 8 days however I am still a way off from releasing this update but it will also have a new system to download maps directly into a format supported on the CE (PDA type devices).

David
thank you for your email. Will you be selling your software when completed?
