We have a fantastic hatches which accumulates dust and consequently gets mouldly. Can someone please tell us how to effectively clean the blades and the hatch itself of dust and mould without having to get up on the roof of the van -

Probably some sort of spray bleach exit mould Etc should clean it up.

Then spray some water on it to clean the smell and wash it off.

Cheers

Hi Ray,
Cleaning the screen & blades is easy.....remove the eight screws holding the screen in place, wash the screen in warm soapy water. Using the same mix to clean the fan blades, cleaning the hatch....yep thats a job from the top side. Spraying exit mold or similar from inside the van to clean the hatch.....probably not a good idea....would probably have some of it end up in the fan motor, wouldnt do the fan motor much good, let alone your eyes or the furniture the spray goes on.

Hi Ray,

After removing the screen from below. I brust it with a stiff pain brush with a towel underneath to catch the dirt. Then with the fam on high / out spray with spray and wipe. Then wipe with paper towel.
