Have just bought a Fiamma set of ramps and chocks which look very sturdy. However the top notch on the ramp is near the back edge and if you put the chock on it ,it doesn't appear that there is room for the wheel.
Has anyone had experience with these?
Thanks

yes and never had any trouble with them Usually you dont have to get the van that high anyway. Just shift it a bit to get a better site.
We normally only use the smaller straight ones and rarely use the three level ones.
Also if you have a tandem axle van it pays to chock BOTH axles as one isnt deigned to hold that amount of weight.
We just back it up till its level and whack the chock as close as possible.
Sometimes have to back up a bit more and let it run down on it after putting it in the slot. Its not an exact science really

If you are referring
to this one, you only need a chock on the lower side of the wheel. The ramp has its own built chock on the upper side, if you don't think it is enough then chock the wheel on the other side of the van.

Been using this really simple and inexpensive levelling system for years with great success.
Just get a piece of treated pine offc ut 250mm x 40mm x 600mm
No fiddly bits just make sure you get the wheel centered on the board and it is a no brainer. If you need more height wack another on top!

SAME HERE # 3. It's also a hell of a lot cheaper. Can pick up offcuts from most builders sites, if ya ask nicely.
