The Mandurah Boat Show is on this weekend.

Big full page ad in today's Mandurah Mail (one of Mandurah's local papers).

In the text in the ad:

"Special Guest: Malcolm Douglas."

I rang their office and I got the impression they had an avalanche of complaints.

What would it take to get some good proof reading of the ad? They had all the excuses of course; it wasn't made by us, just sent to us etc etc.

But, it's their paper, they printed it. Their responsibility.

Damn poor performance in my opinion.

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy

I think you may be a bit harsh GB, perhaps the person making this add was to young to know who Malcolm was, perhaps this person was a new Australian.

It is unfortunate that this happened, but it may have been an unfortunate over sight, chill out my friend and have good memories of a great man, don't upset yourself because of a probable unfortunate mistake.

Yeah often print deadlines are well before actual printing. This ad was probably paid and finalised months ago.

No harm done in my books.
