Brisbane, would anyone like to share some ideas for a weeks holiday,we like surroundings such as
somerset, maybe 1770.Any ideas would be fantastic.

Why not just do a touring type trip where you move on every day or two? Bit of coast, bit of inland. Will give you a chance to get used to towing the van in different environments instead of just
parking it for the duration. You did mention exploring - can't do much of that if you're stuck in 1770.
But then that's just me - can't stand to be in one place for too long when travelling.

Hi Mark & Lynette,
Wife and I have had many holidays in and around the country but by far the most remembered and talked about was one where we left
Rockhampton and I drove to the big roundabout and didn't turn off. Wife asked "what are you doing and I said you haven't said which way."
She said to stop being stupid so I took the next turn which happened to be south. We then agreed to take turns deciding which way to turn at the next major intersections.
We had a fantastic and most memorable holiday which took in Calliope, Kalpower,
Monto, Mundubbera, Cania Gorge and Isla Gorge; to name a few. We had a top pub feed in Mundub. Great Barby in the first
camp at Cania. Terrific
camp fire at Isla. Best bush museum at
Miles--- The list of tops and greats just goes on. And nothing planned except the return date.....
Take a punt and enjoy...
Cheers Ham
