Yes the van has been sent to a factory for some detailing,we are looking at collecting next week (friday),however no money has been exchanged.just looking around at other vans as such and there seems to be a great diff in price for 2008 model.Hopes are high that all goes to plan.On the road sat.

Have you checked the rego number with the state authorities and checked that who is selling the van owns the van. Have you checked to see if the van is under finance. Clear title is paramount otherwise if under finance the finance company can repossess from you and you have no recourse except to the seller. Can be a nightmare.
Another circumstance van could be stolen and owners on holiday and no report of van been stolen. People could have stolen identity, get copy of rego papers and could be transferred to your name. You cannot be to careful checking there are so many scams around.
