I'm working on a '73 FJ40 with a 2F motor. It would be handy to have a shop manual. Can anyone recommend a good Workshop Manual.

hi brendon

if yoou want a one that covers everything then contact the car makers spare parts dept

i wanted one for mt 60 series bought the haynes manual but it never went deep enuff.
so i contacted toyota paid 94 bucks for the factory worshop manual which covers everything apart from the diesel engine which is a seperate manual.

they photo copy it as they are not in print any more but they are well worth the money

There is nearly always one or three for sale on Australian Ebay.If you see a copy of a Toyota factory manual grab it.The non Toyota publications are less in depth.
Look under toyota landcruiser

Something I come across last night while surfing the net,(not looking for porn for a change) try birfield.com they have landcruiser manuals you can download but having broadband connection would help as they average about 350 pages per manual..........Dazz
