Afternoon all, I have been viewing everyone's comments with interest and upon suggestion will be going with the Koni Shocks (Autobarn) for my 99 Hilux DC with IFS.
What I would like to know is, does anyone have any suggestions/comments on brand/type of rear leaf springs as I would like to replace these as
well. How do I tell if the ones on there now, are shot? Should I replace the whole spring or just add extra leaves??

Have a look at your Shackle hanger angle, When new leaf springs are fitted they should be sitting at around 5 degrees from straight up and down, if your springs are worn out or are being overloaded the angle could be as much as 50 degrees, anywhere in between is operational.
There are heaps of
places to buy leaf springs , look around in previous ExploreOz posts and in the business search.
Dont waste your money on resetting or patchup jobs, they cost nearly as much as new springs. and will wear out in a few years again.
