Not using IE. Have you sent an email off to the EO team or David and asked them. They will be able to tell you if there are some browser incompatability issues.
Cheers Mick

using version 10.62 and windows 7.
Tried a reboot didnt work.
Closed the tab and opened up a whole new tab (usually tell it to continue from last session) so far seems to be OK will keep monitoring it before I bother them.

I've had the same problem with Firefox...it seems to be caused by "Plug-in container for Firefox"...according to the Windows Task Manager it seems to be using too many resources and slows the program down to a freeze. (AMD Phenom 3.4 Black ed & 8gig RAM & Win7 64bit)
IE works no problems. Other programs run concurrently with no problems and swapping between them is fine...just that Firefox is frozen. Only occurs intermittently for about 30 seconds.

sounds the same and firefox is similar to opera. Just freezes that one browser and the browser indicates exploroz as the problem and only does it when i am navigating in it.

You could try disabling the adobe shockwave/shockwave flash plugin, it seems to cause issues in many browsers but only on certain websites. Happens on my desktop for exploroz and occasionally eBay (Win 7 64bit IE8) but not on my laptop which has the same software on it.
Just remember to enable the plugin when you want to view flash content.

Funny you should mention adobe, I have had it cause more problems than its worth a long time ago and removed it and started again. I run 32 bit win 7 with IE8 no probs but with the opera 10.62 it wont play the game.
did an update on my adobe and this site only is slower on opera (other sites faster) but so far it seems to have solved the freezing.
Thanks for the idea will see how it goes.

I use Opera (10.11) on Ubuntu Linux. Did load 10.60 but found it didn´t work as smoothly, so went back to 10.11.
It also freezes up occasionally - I have put it down to a quirk, either in Opera, or the Toshiba laptop, getting overwhelmed with too many images either overloading RAM or the CPU running too hot. It happens not only with Exploroz, but also with some other sites where I view lots of images in a short period of time. But it does not happen every time!
A reboot fixes the problem for me.
That it happens with both Windows and Linux would, to my mind, point to a problem within Opera, or maybe even the hardware on which it is running. In the past I have often found hardware to be more of a problem than software (e.g. too little RAM, or the system too small for the work it has to do).
cheers
John

yeh i can see where your coming from but it is strictly with this site on opera only.
I have 25 tabs open at once all the time and the only one that plays up is exploroz all the other work fast and without fault.
Seems to be still OK since doing the adobe update as suggested previously

I've had the odd problem over the years with various browsers/computers etc accessing the EO site amongst others and it has been suggested to always update Adobe Flash as the first option. In almost all cases this has fixed the problem.
It seems that the update has fixed the problem. BTW you can change the settings of the Adobe Flash Player by accessing your settings online at
