Hi
Just returned from a trip around central NSW.

I was using Memory Maps on the GPS with my tracks and camping sites being recorded and saved.
After a couple of days I went to load it on to the lap top and found it had gone.
No sign of the route travelled or camping spots.

I know when using it, ie. scrolling , typing or turning it off it would often freeze.

Has anyone else had trouble with their VMS units.

We had a great trip though. Wildflowers were knee high everywhere.

Don't get that problem with a proper GPS , once it's in it's in.

Hi Lachie

We (three faminly mambers) use the VMS unit but gave Memory Map a miss. Installed OzExplorerCE. No problems at all and fully compatable with the PC in the house.

You may consider changing as well.
