Hi everyone. I have just bought a caravan and looking to put a camera for reversing and also one on the van for rear vision. I have looked at some of the options and have come down to a Gator brand ARV50t. Can anyone give me some feed back on this brand or others that are good. Or your own experiences with these products.

Lots of brands and options Kerrymac, both locally and from Hong Kong and China (eBay and direct on line stores); price range to match!
I can recommend you put just a rear view camera on your caravan, which has a different focal point and lens to one for reversing. Unless you are concerned about
young children behind your caravan, reversing shouldn't be a problem, and with a rear view you will still be able to see trees before backing into them. But you probably mean the reversing camera for the tow vehicle? Also get something that is quick and easy to disconnect when uncoupling. This connection point is also the weak point of the system. We tried wireless but it was no good on our caravan. One screen can be switched between tow vehicle and caravan cameras as needed.

I have bought several items from here: -
http://www.brashimports.com.au/
No affiliation to them, but good service and as most if not all the cameras etc. come from china, they are direct importers.

I second Hazo's comment. I installed an in dash nav unit with car camera and also use the aux input for the van.

We bought our present set up from Brash. Very good service - he got back to me all hours seven days a week. However the camera we chose was not good for rear view as it was more suitable for reversing. Vehicles behind us we not in view until about to pass, whereas with the previous Hong Kong eBay cheapie, distance vision was good. We never did resolve what would be a more suitable camera from Brash's range, but found with the extra width of the F250 and the wide mirrors, we didn't need the camera. As much of our touring was on dusty roads, the vision was obscured by clouds of dust, so two reasons not to persist with it. Rear view was invaluable when touring Tasmania (towing with Patrol).

I have just had a dual camera fitted to the back of our VistaRV. One camera is about 60 degree view, the other is a wide angle one. The whole unit is very small.
The 60 degree one is on all the time and gives me a great view down the road behind me. The usual wide angle ones are annoying as a Kenworth prime mover 50 metres behind you looks like a dot. The wide angle one gives me great vision all behind the VistaRV.
There are a few systems on the market for caravans/trailers. They come with a reversing camera for the car and one or two for the van. Polaris is one company I can remember seeing.
If you have a local place that specialises in reversing cameras, have a chat with them and see what they have to offer. I found my dual camera at one such place (in Bayswater, Victoria).
Whatever you end up with, make sure the screen is big and clear!
Cheers
