I spent yesterday morning at the Airflow
snorkel factory trying different snorkels on my Terrano 2 2.7 diesel, non fitted, the Hilux one being the closest fit. After a long discussion with the owner he mentioned that Terranos are very popular in NZ & Europe & that he had been considering developing one for this export market. I offered my vehicle for a few days for the R & D to help convince him that it would be a good idea. So if anybody would be interested in one, please register your interest in this thread & I will let them know that there is a domestic market also.

I have seen a few Airflo snorkles and the qualitu is not that high. I am goung to get a Airtec for a Ford Courier and make it fit.

I agree that they may not look quite as good as the others .. but the manufacturer is very cluey on airflow .... as he he said what looks good is not necessarily the most efficient. I put his theories to a friend of
mine who is an aeronautical engineer & he agreed with the Airflow principles.
