Hi Folks,
Just chasing some info on the route from
Cooma to Bodalla via
Belowra. Would there be any hassles with a camper trailer? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I gather you mean the
Belowra Rd between the Deua and Wadbilliga NP's.
I haven't been down this Rd for about 2 years, but it is normally an easy drive - 2WD vehicles - so a camper should be OK.
There are some good
camp sites beside the Tuross River.Subaru Forester
size isn't everything !

Colin, Many thanks. My reason for asking is that we are driving from
Jindabyne to Batehaven on Xmas Eve and we are trying to find the shortest distance, shortest time and avoid the traffic on King's Hwy.
As you are a local, what's the quickest way to get to Tumut from
Canberra ?

Via Brindabella Valley is the shortest and if you don't know the road I wouldn't say the quickest.
Alt. down the Hume.

Call the local National Parks and Wildfires and ask them if your talking of a parks road.

Quite an easy drive, only one ceeek crossing just as you start then mostly a gentle downhill from there. A nice drive better than the black top.
