Hi we are looking for a couple who are interested in helping out on our cattle station for a short period while we finish cattle work for the year. We cant afford wages but can provide power (although we are on
solar power),
water, ablution , food and accom if needed. In return we are looking for someone that is good with
young children to do a few hours teaching school of the air in the morning or looking after them in the afternoon. partner can do some odd jobs too and help with cattle work if desired. We are flexible with the amount of work done. We are also close to
the beach if you have a 4wd. 220km south
Broome, Nita Downs station.
ph. 0891924688.

Hi there at Nita Downs,
REVISE - WA is an organisation that provides assistance such as you need (Retired Educator Volunteers For Isolated Students Education)
They have a large data base of retired teachers, many of whom are travelling around Australia. The arrangements are the same as what you are offering - accommodation (if needed) and meals. All work is on a voluntary basis. All have a police clearance for working with children.
Contact person:
Alice Johnson (Coordinator REVISE WA)
Phone: 08 94862100
Email: revisewa@westnet.com.au
I hope this helps,
Robyn

Hi, if you are interested in early Oct next year we might be able to help out. For the last 15 years, about 10 farmers and sons head bush for a couple of weeks
camping. We would love to visit
the beach on your station,we are self contained and could do a coulpe of days mustering, drafting and marking cattle for you, if you are interested, most of us are wheat and sheep farmers from the
Wubin area, some of us have also run cattle. Hopefully the dollar drops and prices improve a bit. Let me know if you are interested, I think Oliver Shultze from
Wubin has spent time at Nita Downs years ago, Regards Peter.
