Hi I bought a new Coromal Magnum van and optioned for the
water proof external 12v plug, its black round, made of plastic, has 2 circular pins one larger than the other and a thread for the ring on the male plug to screw on to.
My problem is finding where I can purchase some extra male plugs to suite.
I have found a few web sites that sell similar but they are made of brass and are smaller, they are used in a lot of marine applications.
If any one can tell me where to purchase these plugs it would be greatly appreciated, cheers Dino.
P.S. I live in
Perth.

Hi Dino
Have you been in contact with coromal .They should be able to help ,might even give you a couple for buying the new van.Other wise try looking in a Hella catalogue as I think they do a similar plug.Coventrys would be a place to start looking.Enjoy your new van.
Cheers Stuart.

You will find them at the 12 Volt
Shop in Kewdale Rd,
Welshpool.

Personally, they are a really fiddly plug to assemble and if Coromal had fitted Hella (or Arrid) sockets you would have been better off.
You will find these at the 12 Volt
Shop too.

I agree, rather swap the socket to hella type before buying the round pin marine plugs.

Yhea I did look on the 12v
shop web site and I could only find the smaller metal ones but I'll go in and check,a guy I spoke to at Coromal Caravans Cannington had both types and said the metal ones didn't fit the plastic ones and he had the plastic ones but I had to buy both male and female,or I might do Derek's idea.
Thanks for the info people cheers.
