I'd certainly give it serious consideration. I'm more interested in the new
Ranger, its been a long time in gestation and set for a size increase to make it roughly the same size of the current gen dual cabs. Better safety, better features etc while hopefully retaining decent off road ability.

Mark my words mate, the new
Ranger and BT50 will leave the others for dead. They are already the 2 best value for money dual cabs available, but with this new model they are going to be the best ever dual cabs for a long time.
I guarantee it.

I'm watching carefully also. Would it be too much to ask for:
1. Slightly bigger than Hilux size with Patrol/Prado track width? (for stability)
2. Decent size (say 3.2litres) diesel with good lowdown torque? (bye bye Amarok)
3. Payload of 1100 to 1300kg?
4. Wheebase that actually lets you carry the above payload on a dualcab? (so I dont have to organise a chassis stretch)
5. A decent 5 speed automatic?
Pigs might fly you say, but if the BT50/
Ranger can fill most of these criterior I may have finally found a replacement for my stretched patrol ute that doesn't require me to mortgage both my kids!!
Looking foward to tomorrow, but doubting my dreams will be fulfilled. Tim
