Everyone who owns one of these cruisers know what a pain the passenger seatbelt is to put on.

Here is a seatbelt extension that cures this problem. The extension is supplied by Seatbelts Direct Australia phone No (070 41223399 and email seatbeltsdirect@etechsafe.net.au
The extension complies with the Australian standard and is
Type: EXTN BELT. Part No: EXT 200

I would think you would be able to get a 300mm extension also for larger people.
No affiliation with the company blah blah blah.

Yep Wilko,
that's where the photo comes from, we have to wear them and with all our underground gear on it was nye impossible to do up the seatbelt, naturally people were just holding the belt accross to look like it was done up.

Do you have the rechargeable cap lamps that don't have an external battery (its battery is in the lamp on your helmet?

I got one and use it more for camping/fishing lol

Jeez I didn't know I had a problem! I've driven a 75 series for 13 odd years and the belt has always fitted and I've now got a 78 series and the belt fits... am I doing something wrong?

Rod,
I hope you haven't been driving your ute from the passenger seat, if so you must have long legs and arms LOL.

What I was pointing out is the seatbelt that comes through the 3/4 seat comes up under your bum making it hard to put on, it also can work back into the slot and be hard to get back (this an happen when the seat is pulled forward)

Many wives hate that seat with a passion, mine doesn't anymore cause I fitted a bucket.

Haveing to travel in that seat every second day for the last 20yrs + I also hate the things except if it is fitted with the extension.

Me Me, it seems to be all about you
