Met some great guys out prospecting

Good morning all,
I was out prospecting for the first time with my wife and met 3 real genuine guys who the time of day to stop prospecting and show us what we might need to do to do it better.
After a quick detector set up lesson out from
Menzies W.A. we walked 20 meters and found a 1 gram nugget.

Isn't that great - were you using the Gold & Ghosts software per chance. I'm thinking of giving it a go!

G'day Wayne, click on the ExploreOz "Shop" header above and you will be able to track down the Gold & Ghosts Software DVDS. In essence, they are basically the Historical Maps from Department of Minerals and Petroleum W.A. of old leases and mines. Of course there is other info there, some taken from the book series. (helps a lot if you can't lay your hands on the actual " Gold & Ghosts" series of books by De Havilland.) Have fun!
