Hi Folks
Thanks for the help with the Toyota
forum address.
I now need to find the site that gave you the info on tweeking the injector pump on an 80# LC
also how to stop the centre diff lock up when low range is selected
Some kind person on here gave me the address about 3 years ago and I seem to have misplaced it

LCOOL technical section has all the details on disconnecting the centre diff lock in low, do a search for the injector pump

Hi Ray,
The article referred to the pump on a 1HD FT motor. If your motor is the 24 valve turbo then it covers your model. There are some differences on these models to the previous ones, such as high pressure injectors etc.
If your pump has not been done up by around 270 000 Ks you might be
well advised to have it seen to.
Mine had worn out in the casing and virtually had to be replaced. There was not much that was serviceable from the old one.
A Toyota mechanic at the local dealership, who had nothing to do with the work I had done on the pump, said I was lucky that it had lasted to 270,000 Ks.
Reason I suggest this is it may not give you the required results if it is worn out.
